ALPINA at the 45th Tokyo Motor Show

ALPINA is excited to celebrates a number of Japan premieres at the 45th Tokyo Motor Show this year.

Debuting for the first time in Asia will be the new BMW ALPINA B3 S Bi-Turbo and BMW ALPINA B4 S Bi-Turbo models with revised drivetrains delivering 440 hp and 660 Nm of torque.

Of particular importance are the launches of the all new ALPINA models based on the BMW 5 Series. The all new BMW ALPINA B5 Bi-Turbo features a 4,4 litre V8 Bi-Turbo and now comes with all-wheel drive and rear-wheel steering as standard. Japan is also eagerly awaiting the all new BMW ALPINA D5 S which is powered by a straight-six cylinder diesel engine and now also comes with all-wheel drive – this sportdiesel is looking to continue the success of its predecessor in Japan which was one of the very first performance diesel vehicles in Asia.

At the Tokyo Motor Show, which is held every two years, all renowned German premium manufacturers will be represented. The show is known for its many trends, clever innovations and crazy concept cars. ALPINA has been participating in the Tokyo Motor Show for 30 consecutive years – the first exhibition of BMW ALPINA automobiles having taken place in 1987!
