ALPINA Heritage in Paris

“Back to the Classics”

The official ALPINA dealer in Paris, BymyCAR BAC (former Garage Du Bac), located at Chennevières-sur-Marne (94), hosted on Wednesday 6th May 2015 the evening “Back to the Classics”. It was the opportunity to gather numerous emblematic pieces of BMW, BMW M and of course BMW ALPINA from private collections.

BymyCAR’s customers and brand’s enthusiasts were invited to see in total 15 cars, divided in 3 distinct spaces.

The first room allowed them to discover current models. With the pleasant collaboration of BMW Group France and ALPINA Burkard Bovensiepen GmbH & Co. KG the new BMW ALPINA B4 Bi-Turbo, D5 Bi-Turbo and XD3 Bi-Turbo were shown among others.

In the main part of BymyCAR BAC’s 400 m2 large showroom the mythical BMW ALPINA C1 2,3 from 1981 was an eye-catcher – surrounded by well-known BMW icons like BMW M3 Evo 1 from 1987 and Sport Evo from 1988, BMW Z1 (1991) and BMW Z8 (2000).

Finally in the workshop, BymyCAR BAC’s experts offered a return on the technical specificities and explained the exceptional characteristics. A BMW ALPINA B7 Bi-Turbo was presented here.

Back to the Classics” was gathered from more than 280 enthusiasts, who had the pleasure to share their passion around a cocktail dinner. Giorgi Grdzelishvili, the market responsible person at ALPINA, arrived with the new BMW ALPINA B4 Bi-Turbo Cabrio – a truly perfect car for this event.
