Last B5 Bi-Turbo EDITION 50 delivered

The BMW ALPINA B5 Bi-Turbo EDITION 50 with production number 50 has left the automobile manufacture on friday, 8th of march 2016.

The Touring, painted in exclusive ALPINA blue metallic, was delivered to long-standing customer Horst Lindemann, of DiaVita GmbH in Heidelberg, handed over in person by Andreas Bovensiepen, Head of ALPINA Sales, at the manufacture’s showroom in Buchloe. The last one of the limited BMW ALPINA B5 Bi-Turbo EDITION 50 was delivered together with Michael Vetter, Sales Director of our sales partner, CUNTZ in Speyer.

Selling twelve BMW ALPINA EDITION 50 automobiles so far, the Speyer dealership is the European leader in sales for the EDITION 50 limited models. CUNTZ has been an official ALPINA partner since 1980. Their management and team are highly experienced with the brand, and convey the ALPINA philosophy to the clients in their region with great passion.

ALPINA has turned 50 last year, and has created the EDITION 50 models: 50 automobiles based on the BMW ALPINA B5 Bi-Turbo and 50 automobiles based on the BMW ALPINA B6 Bi-Turbo, featuring the most powerful engine throughout the company’s history so far. The EDITION 50’s 4.4 litre V8 Bi-Turbo boasts an output of 441 kW (600 PS) at 6,000 rpm and a maximum torque of 800 Nm.

The exclusiveness of this special edition is emphasized by a sophisticated coffee-table book, which is lined in a cover resembling the stitched leather seats in the car’s interior. It features beautiful photographs of the anniversary models which were shot in Croatia, in a first-time collaboration with automotive photographers Frederic Schlosser and Arnaud Taquet.

Each individual “Owner’s Book” is matched with the corresponding automobile of the anniversary edition, featuring the car’s production plaque. This makes the “Owner’s Book” just as limited as the anniversary edition automobiles, and it’s is not available for purchase. Each customer of the EDITION 50 automobiles has received their own personal, exclusive copy.
