Kaatsch customer team wins GT3 class with BMW ALPINA B6 GT3 in DMV Championship races at Red Bull Ring in Austria

At the Formula 1 race track in Spielberg, Austria, the BMW ALPINA B6 GT3 again proved to be successful in the hands of customer teams as well. On the third race weekend of the DMV GTC (May 22-24, 2015), Steffi Halm from Herrenberg, Germany, won the  GT3 class and ranked third in the overall classification, which included significantly more powerful racers.

The Kaatsch racing team has been using the car, with its typical green and blue ALPINA livery, in the DMV Championship since 2013. The DMV Championship has established itself as a popular racing series for GT cars.

Team owner Hermann Wager, who personally piloted the BMW ALPINA B6 GT3 in the first race on the Red Bull Ring, garnered a top ten ranking, finishing 9th.

The next two races for the DMV GTC will take place at Hockenheimring, Germany, on July 3 and 4.
