In the comprehensive Autocar road test the British magazine rated the BMW ALPINA B3 with an outstanding 5 stars!
The jury states: “If we were to plot a spider chart showing the attributes of ride quality, handling finesse, performance potential, build quality, interior opulence and all-round usability against the ideal for this kind of car, it would be lapping at every edge. […]The finest all-rounder on the planet today? We think so.”
The BMW ALPINA B3
The most powerful BMW ALPINA B3 of all time is driven by a straight-six 3.0 litre engine with bi-turbo charging. With an output of 340 kW (462 hp) and a maximum torque of 700 Nm (516 lb-ft) the engine delivers impressive driving performance. With a top speed of 303 km/h / 188 mph for the Saloon and 300 km/h / 186 mph for the Touring, the BMW ALPINA B3 is one of the fastest of its kind.
