BMW ALPINA B7
As part of the many activities surrounding this year’s Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, BMW of North America with the support of ALPINA presented the all new BMW ALPINA B7 for a first hands-on drive.
Selected media representatives had the exclusive opportunity to enjoy the unparalleled driving experience of ALPINA’s latest offering on California’s finest roads. The BMW ALPINA B7 also demonstrated its extraordinary performance and dynamic handling qualities on the legendary Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca – the rear-wheel drive bias of the BMW xDrive system with ALPINA calibration and the Integral Active Steering means the BMW ALPINA B7 mastered even the challenging „corkscrew“ playfully.
Within the scope of the partnership between BMW and ALPINA, the popularity of this by now third generation BMW ALPINA B7 is as strong as ever in the United States. Knowledgeable customers cherish the unique combination of effortless performance, dynamic handling and excellent ride comfort coupled with a sportive appearance and exclusive low volume production.
The new generation 4.4 liter V8 engine with Bi-Turbo charging, direct petrol injection and Valvetronic produces 447 kW (608 hp / 600 bhp) and 800 Nm (590 lb-ft) of torque. This means the new BMW ALPINA B7 excels with extraordinary driving performance, accelerating from 0-62 mph in just 3.7 seconds and on to a top speed of 330 km/h (205 mph).*
