Blue, Gray, Orange - 99 Unique Automobiles
The production of the BMW ALPINA B4 S Bi-Turbo EDITION 99 is running at full throttle in a dedicated workshop in Buchloe. A selected team of mechanics is responsible for completing the build of each automobile while making sure that the customer spec sheet is correctly executed.
The EDITION 99 combines technical highlights such as a lightweight titanium exhaust system, a revised ALPINA Sport Suspension Plus (Coupé) and forged wheels in Ferric Grey with exclusive paintworks and hand-finished interiors. Strictly limited to 99 automobiles worldwide, no two vehicles are the same, every single one is unique.
A look at the distribution between Coupé and Convertible shows that 65 customers have opted for a Coupé - predominantly with all-wheel drive - and 34 customers for a Convertible. One-fifth of the EDITION 99 is destined to go on a long sea voyage to Japan, with some going to England and Switzerland while the majority will actually remain with German customers.
Almost half of the edition models were ordered in the special "Grigio Medio" paintwork, followed by "Fire Orange" and "ALPINA Blue". With regards to the exclusive interior trim options there is also a clear favourite namely ALPINA piano lacquer with EDITION 99 lettering followed closely by the popular Alcantara trim.
Despite each EDITION 99 being unique they do all share common traits in form of extraordinary performance, precision dynamics and bold aesthetics.
