TIME FOR A BMW ALPINA B5 GT
LIMITED TO 250 UNITS
In 1965, Burkard Bovensiepen founded ALPINA. A company that is passionately committed to the development and production of exceptional automobiles for connoisseurs and enthusiasts. With a luxurious interior, incredible performance and a discreetly sportive exterior. Dynamism paired with elegant understatement characterises each and every ALPINA automobile. To this day, nothing has changed in this philosophy.
For over 50 years, ALPINA has been a small antithesis to the automotive mass market. Both on the road and on the racetrack, BMW ALPINA automobiles have repeatedly caused sensations. ALPINA looks back on a long tradition of small, exclusive limited edition models, all of which represent the extraordinary. They have become coveted collectors‘ and enthusiasts‘ items.
Continuing this tradition of exciting editions, the BMW ALPINA B5 GT was born. It expresses our passion for automotive masterpieces, combining a nuanced, distinct appearance with the most powerful, high-performance drivetrain in the company‘s history. The B5 GT marks the pinnacle of the BMW 5 Series at ALPINA.
Available as a Saloon and Touring, limited to 250 units worldwide.
The most powerful drivetrain in ALPINA‘s history
The BMW ALPINA B5 GT is powered by the well established 4.4 litre V8 bi-turbo engine, renowned for its dynamic and smooth power delivery and high torque. For the first time, this engine delivers 466 kW (634 hp) and a maximum torque of 850 Nm, making it the most powerful engine in ALPINA‘s history!
330 km/h - Benchmark
The sprint from 0 to 100 km/h takes just 3.2 seconds (Touring: 3.4 seconds) – especially breath-taking ist the instant and continuous thrust up to a top speed of 330 km/h (Touring: 328 km/h). These numbers are best-in-segment and make the B5 GT possibly the fastest series production “family” Saloon and Touring worldwide.
Powerful eight-cylinder sound
The ALPINA sports exhaust system with a new middle silencer configuration produces a throaty eight-cylinder sound. The two twin tailpipes are coated with titanium nitride in a complex production process for a black finish.
