POWER OUTPUT AND TORQUE The straight-six cylinder engine generates 364 kW (495 hp) of power and a maximum torque of 730 Nm (538 lb-ft) from 3.0 litres of displacement and two mono-scroll turbochargers. The power delivery is effortless throughout the full rpm range, which is a hallmark of the superior driving experience for which ALPINA is known. Plenty of power reserves combined with the newest ZF 8HP76 8-Speed Sport Automatic Transmission means acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h takes just 3.7 seconds. The maximum speed is 301 km/h (187 mph). The BMW ALPINA B4 Gran Coupé is characterised by an expressive, elegant design with an elongated silhouette and flowing roofline. The ALPINA front spoiler accentuates the athletic front, while at the rear an unobtrusive spoiler takes up the elegant coupé lines. The rear also features four oval tailpipes of the ALPINA sport exhaust system, a long-standing hallmark of the brand. POWERFUL PRESENCE
ALPINA CLASSIC The wheel design reinterprets the classic 20-spoke design, which has long since become an ALPINA trademark, by taking up the design cues from the striking vehicle silhouette. The wheel with its long and thin spokes is manufactured in a complex forging process, which results in a weight of only 12 kg, quite remarkable for a wheel size of 20”.
The standard equipment of the BMW ALPINA B4 is class leading and includes comfort features such as seat and steering wheel heating but also the latest BMW assistance systems like the Parking and Driving Assistant including Speed Limit Assist, Cross Traffic Alert and Lane Change Warning. A L P I N A EXCLUSIVITY I D E N T I T Y Elegant details like the ALPINA production plaque with individual build number or the steering wheel hand-stitched in luxurious LAVALINA leather add a touch of exclusivity to the interior. The BMW ALPINA B4 interior can also be upgraded to a complete bespoke LAVALINA leather upholstery. The naturally tanned leather is in a quality class of its own in the automotive segment, and is prized for both its supple softness and its temperature-balancing properties. In ALPINA’s in-house leather workshop, even the most unique customer wishes can be made reality by master craftsmen.
• TORSIONAL RIGIDITY The high torsional rigidity that is the hallmark of the BMW 4 Series chassis elevates the handling potential. The BMW ALPINA B4 is equipped with unique dome-bulkhead rein- forcement struts. TYRES • The Pirelli P ZERO (ALP) ultra-high performance tyres offer high levels of grip and lateral support. WHEELS • The ALPINA CLASSIC 20“ wheel is manufactured in a complex forging process, which results in a weight of only 12 kg. BRAKE SYSTEM • SPORT EXHAUST SYSTEM • • EXHAUST GAS TREATMENT Four-piston fixed brake callipers with Ø 395 mm (15.6“) brake discs at the front axle and floating brake callipers with Ø 345 mm (13.6“) brake discs at the rear axle offer generous safety reserves. To reduce the exhaust back pressure, the ALPINA engineers rely on wide diameters in the exhaust system as well as large cross section particulate filters. The exhaust system combines close-coupled catalytic converters and underbody catalytic converters with two gasoline particulate filters

The driver can choose between three steering modes: COMFORT, SPORT and SPORT+. • LIMITED-SLIP DIFFERENTIAL The electronically controlled rear limited-slip differential ensures optimal traction and agility – especially during dynamic cornering. • ALL-WHEEL DRIVE The all-wheel drive is based on the BMW xDrive system, which allows for a fully variable torque distribution between the front and rear axle. As befits the athletic character of the BMW ALPINA B4, the torque distribution is rear-wheel biased. ALPINA SPORT SUSPENSION • • TRANSMISSION A bespoke spring and damper configuration ensures balanced suspension characteristics and the specific adaptation of the variable damper control ensures a noticeable differentiation between the various driving modes. The 8-Speed Sport Automatic Transmission from the 8HP76 generation is specifically adapted to the torquey drivetrain, offering both outstanding shift comfort and shift dynamics.
