LAVALINA in its sportiest form
The new BMW ALPINA B4 and D4 S models are available since this year. Now the individualisation options have been expanded with another highlight from the in-house leather workshop - LAVALINA upholsteries in conjunction with the optionally available BMW M Sport seats.
LAVALINA leather is the highest quality leather available any automobile. It is a cask-pigmented full-grain cowhide that comes exclusively from selected farms in southern Germany, Austria, Switzerland and northern Italy. The leather is tanned using only the highest quality vegetable oils. The result is a natural product that is distinguished by its outstanding feel and look. The moisture and temperature regulation as well as the breathability of LAVALINA leather is unparalleled.
The BMW M Sport seats, optionally available for the BMW ALPINA B4 and D4 S, feature a specific design with a bucket seat like appearance, including integrated electrically height-adjustable headrests. They also include lumbar support and width adjustment for both the driver and passenger for optimum lateral support at all times. In addition to the door panels and other interior components, ALPINA's own leather workshop creates a specially conceived design for each type of seat. The focus of the seat upholstery design was on the sportiness exuded by the basic shape of the seat which was further accentuated by finishing parts of the seat and seat backrest in Alcantara. This high-quality velour microfiber material is very comfortable and provides high levels of grip. The centre panels are finished in perforated LAVALINA leather.
There are two hand-finished LAVALINA options available, one covers the seats and the armrests and is suitable for customers who wish to take advantage of the LAVALINA leather´s comfort and climate characteristics. The other is a full leather interior, whereby almost all areas of the interior are designed to the customer´s wishes - for a bespoke and ultra-luxurious finish. You can choose the colour of the leather, the stitching, applications, embossing and much more according to your own preferences. LAVALINA is available in 16 standard colours. In addition, any other colour can be dyed to your own taste - so the colour of your favourite leather shoe or handbag can be realized. In addition, 45 colours of Alcantara are available.
An experienced car upholsterer needs about 90 hours for a LAVALINA full-leather interior. During this time, every single step is lovingly done by hand. First, the leather hides are quality controlled centimetre by centimetre with highly professional precision by the trained eye of the ALPINA saddlers. After the individual leather parts have been cut to size, they are sewn into individual masterpieces using the most elaborate craftsmanship. Every LAVALINA interior is unique.
